I LOVE costume drama. Classic BBC series are my favourite. I'm not an expert on costume design but I sure love a pretty dress.

This site was quite spontaneously created on the 18th of August 2009, although the idea to create a website dedicated to period and historical films has been on my mind since 2008. I really wanted to post news about upcoming period films and series, create a large photo gallery and a period drama database.

At the moment there is a news section where I try to post news about upcoming films. There is also a list of upcoming projects sorted by date. I try to update it as often as possible. Also there is an extensive gallery with 25 000+ photos. And period drama index is very much a work in progress but I'm trying to add old and new projects to it.

As this website is a fan project I only have enough money to pay for the domain name. Which means that there is a lot of ads here. Some of them I have added myself to try and raise some money and some of them are here as part of a free hosting (those are the most annoying ones).
